ISO 14001:2015

ISO 14001:2015 specifies environmental management system requirements to enable an organization to develop and implement policy and objectives. These take into account legal and other requirements to which the organization subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects. It applies to those environmental aspects that the organization identifies as those which it can control, and those which it can influence.

ISO 45001:2018

ISO 45001 is an ISO standard for management systems of occupational health and safety (OH&S), published in March 2018. The goal of ISO 45001 is the reduction of occupational injuries and diseases.

The standard is based on OHSAS 18001, conventions and guidelines of the International Labour Organization including ILO OSH 2001, and national standards.

NAID AAA

3R Technology is NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) AAA-Certified for secure hard drive and media destruction services. This is yet another assurance of how seriously we take our commitment to the guardianship of our clients’ sensitive information.

The NAID AAA Certification Program is a voluntary program for NAID member companies providing information destruction services. Through the program, NAID members are audited for mobile and/or plant-based operations in paper or printed media, micromedia, computer hard drive destruction, and/or computer hard drive sanitization.

3R Technology has been an active member of the WSRA since 2008. The Washington State Recycling Association is a nonprofit membership organization that has been dedicated to supporting waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting in Washington since 1976. Members come from all sectors of the industry — collection, processing, manufacturing, vendors, consulting, education and outreach, government, and nonprofits.

Take it Back Network

3R Technology has been a member of the Take It Back Network since its inception in 2003. The Take it Back Network is a partnership among government agencies, retailers, repair shops, charitable organizations and recyclers that provides consumers with options for recycling certain wastes – and their hazardous components – in a safe and cost effective manner. Network members are committed to providing environmentally sound recycling services. They agree to recycle the materials domestically or in developed nations.

King County rightfully prides itself on its progressive values and focus on green and sustainable efforts to improve our local and global ecosystem.

We were very excited when 3R Technology was recognized for this top award for its outstanding contributions to the environment, social causes, and local business community. We faced challenging competition from many other worthy businesses represented from the local sustainability economy. There were almost 300 applicants for the award which was presented in 7 categories, Small Business of the Year, Minority Small Business of the Year, Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year, Exporting Small Business of the Year, Green/Sustainable Small Business of the Year, Workforce Small Business of the Year, and Rural Small Business of the Year.
